The Families Mentor Association (FMA) is a community-driven organization founded in December 2011, dedicated to providing support, guidance, and resources to families, particularly within the African community.
Our membership is open to individuals primarily from the African community, as well as others who share our organisation's interests and values. Every member has the right to vote and participate in decision-making processes.
"As a young person striving for success, FMA has played a significant role in shaping my future. Through their educational support programs, I received the resources and mentorship needed to excel academically and develop essential life skills. FMA's commitment to empowering youth like myself is commendable, and I am grateful for the opportunities they have provided me"
"FMA has been a beacon of hope for me and my family. When we were struggling with the cultural divide between our African heritage and Western society, FMA provided invaluable guidance on how to preserve our cultural identity while integrating into our new community. The counselling services offered by FMA helped us navigate through personal challenges, and their support has truly enriched our lives"
"I cannot thank FMA enough for the positive impact they've had on my family and our community. Through their efforts in promoting community cohesion and cultural exchange, FMA has fostered a sense of unity and belonging among African families like mine. Their dedication to alleviating poverty and enhancing the quality of life for all members of our community is truly inspiring. FMA is more than an organization; it's a family"
Whether you're looking to volunteer, seek support, or contribute to our cause, there are many ways to get involved with FMA, in making a positive difference in the lives of families and communities.
